About the Program
Students in the Auto Insurance Technology program will learn all about the inner workings of an insurance company, how the claims and denial process works, and profit maximization.
Course Descriptions
AUTO102 Introduction to Insurance +Students will learn the basics of insurance management, how claims are processed, and how rates are decided.
Students will learn more about how rates are assessed, deep diving into studying driving patterns and statistics and how those should relate to the drivers monthly premiums.
Entering their Senior year, Students will operate their own mock insurance company — without pay — and will assess damage to school equipment. Students will complete a final project portfolio to present infront of the entire school.
Rather than attending class, students will complete an internship — without pay — at a major auto insurance provider, and will gain real world experience in the field.
